  This is the student's take on that optimism/pessimism glass half full/half empty gig.  Or at least it's my take, and I am a student.  This conversation was with a friend I will call John Kim to maintain anonymity.

John: Someone in my family accidentally downloaded and installed something, and now it's all over my computer.  I want to break my computer.  ARGH!!!!
Me: I understand dude.
John: Do you??
Me: Actually probably not.  I felt like smashing my monitor, does that count?
John: I'll give you partial credit.
Me: I live off partial credit man, you don't understand.
John: Hahahah.  "It's not wrong, it's only HALF wrong."
Me: I like to see it as "half right."
John: Hahahaha lol

Ok, yeah, so maybe it wasn't that funny.
